You probably already know Danielle, you may not have met her, but if you are in the Toy and Gift industry then we are confident that you will know her vicariously through her creations. Her style is instantly recognizable. You will be familiar with her distinctive flair and creative talent through other companies she has designed for over the years.
After spending many years in Indonesia working closely with the Mentari factory, it became apparent that the natural step was to partner with Mentari and create Tender Leaf Toys and to bring this fabulous new brand into the UK marketplace.

This was the perfect birthday gift for my 2 year old! Every time we asked what he wanted for his birthday he said “candles! Cake!” and this is perfect. I love that the candles are pegs that fit into holes in the wooden cake pieces (much better than the Velcro I saw on similar products). Both my 2 year old and 4.5 year old love this toy :)

Style: Chocolate Birthday Cake
I’ve been really disappointed lately in the tender leaf products. We have bought almost all the kitchen accessories and have the toy fridge they sell and recently I’ve noticed in the last few I have purchased, a lot of the paint is already chipped. I understand they’re supposed to be more organic materials. However, for the price point I expect better quality paint and durability of the toy.

My little loves playing pretend birthday party with her dolls and stuffed animals. This pretend wooden cake is not only super adorable but I love how it comes with realistic birthday candles!
Update: I added a photo for size reference the circumference of the tender leaf birthday cake is the size of my palm. Kinda small, but still perfect for pretend play.
