Our Story

My website is committed to inspiring, informing, and empowering parents to choose sustainable, thoughtful options for their kids. I launched The Baby Penguin to showcase exceptional eco-friendly toys and brands that prioritize our children, the planet, and our communities over profits. Sustainable toys offer incredible benefits, fostering learning, growth, and joy. Our shop features the most eco-conscious toys available—crafted to endure for generations, reducing landfill waste, and made from responsibly sourced wood. We believe communities are invaluable, and together, we can transform the world…one toy at a time!

Family

For my family, the focus has always been on the experiences and the journeys together. I have been parenting for 19 years and have five children. We have lived in seven states and Europe. The adventures and challenges have made us stronger creating a unique family bond.

A Sustainable toy is made of biodegradable natural materials such as renewable wood, cotton, bamboo, or wool. A sustainable toy has been manufactured in a nonpolluting way. A way without releasing carbon, greenhouse gases, or chemical toxins. These can be released into the waterways and the environment.
