HABA Terra Kids Catamaran DIY Boat Kit

Build the boat before setting it afloat. The HABA Terra Kids Catamaran DIY Activity Kit gives children the parts to assemble a small sailing vessel, then explore how the finished craft behaves on water.

A cork hull and rudder form the floating base, with wooden poles supporting two linen sails. Sisal cord and eyelet screws complete the build. Following the instruction booklet gives children a sequence to work through, while trying the finished catamaran introduces practical questions about buoyancy, balance and wind.

Use it for a supervised water activity after assembly, then compare how the boat moves in different conditions. The kit suits children who enjoy making something they can test rather than stopping when the construction is finished.
