My name is Christina, and I have had the opportunity to go hands-on with many toys while parenting five kids spanning 19 years. I always call it the good, the bad, and the ugly with the toys I have seen. I have made some “poor decisions” on toys and have learned a lot through these experiences.
Owning an e-commerce toy store alongside my parenting of 5 children has given me more toy experience than I have ever thought I would have. I have also had the pleasure of speaking with the President and CEO of major Toy manufacturers, asking for my advice on different toys. A way without releasing carbon, greenhouse gases, or chemical toxins. These can be released into the waterways and the environment.
Toys are integral to childhood, but their production and disposal can significantly impact the environment. As a result, there has been a growing interest in sustainable toys made from eco-friendly materials designed to last longer. - Out on the farm, Life is quiet. The cow and horse are out on the pasture while the tractor takes the hay load to the barn. With this BRIO farm railway set, the crane lifts the hay onto the loft. When it’s time for the Animals to move indoors, place them on the wagon with help from the fold-out ramp and transport The wagon with the farm train set. Farm toys are fun!
- The product includes – the farm railway set with 20 pieces, a train engine with a cargo car, a farm tractor with a trailer, a double-height barn with a magnetic crane, a track crossing, cow, hay, and fencing.
- Who does love Farm Life? This is the cutest set and has a different theme than most BRIO World Sets. My kids love putting the cow in the train cart.

This Swedish-owned company has been making toys since 1884. Their train line is the most popular and what they are known for. Brio has a classic train line set that is all wooden without plastics and is of high quality. However, their best-selling line is Brio World, which has plastic functioning components to add playability to its train sets. I wish Brio would have less plastic in their train sets, but older kids tend to love Brio because it is fun to play with. A few plastic toys can be okay if done sustainably.
